Columbia Tri Star
Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment was formed after Sony Corp's acquisition of Columbia Pictures in 1990. Steve joined the company as part of a new management team, serving as head of national retail marketing and promotion. In this role, he built and led a team that developed and executed campaigns supporting new releases across all major accounts, including Walmart, Target, Best Buy, as well as drugstores, grocery chains, and specialty retailers like Tower Records. During his time at Columbia TriStar, the home entertainment business generated more than twice the revenue of theatrical releases for the major U.S. film studios.
